Not What It Seems
Dealing with anxiety on a daily basis is a continuous journey of self-awareness. My work is a reflection of my daily battle with anxiety, a deep personal journey translated through the lens. In Not What It Seems, I capture the complex and often contradictory nature of anxiety-the crippling fear, quiet moments of strength, and the chaos within my world. These moments are particularly impactful because of how common they are. The experiences depicted in these photographs are not unique; however, each of these moments shown can cause momentary breakdowns or anxious panic. Through these images, I conquer my aversion to these instances in time and demonstrate that each of them are not what they seem.
