Larissa Swatek is a photographer with roots in South Dakota and Colorado. She is a graduate of Black Hills State University earning a bachelor’s degree in photography with a minor in graphic design.

Her work consists of concert photographs and studio portraits. Growing up as a musician, her work describes the connections that exist within various forms of communication with the greater art world, specifically the visual arts and music. The photographs that she captures of live performances describe the metaphysical connection that exists between performer and audience- a similar relationship exists between her own eyes and the viewers of her photographic work. 

Larissa’s work has been included in regional exhibitions and private collections in the Midwest. Her photographs can be seen on the web pages and social media feeds of the bands that she loves to photograph.
